Well, Izzy decided she wants to join the wrestling team, ( there are alot of girls on this area that wrestle, including her Aunt Ryan) so this morning we are running late for school, and she was arguing with me about taking her shorts and shirt to school with her. I told her she didn't need to, she would come home before wrestling practice tonight. So anyways Suni gets to my house to pick her up and she left mad at me. At the school when the girls were getting out of the car, Suni asked Maddy for a kiss, and Isabelle said" I guess I'll take one of those, since my mom didn't give me one this morning!" Very funny, I'll make sure to give her a bunch of kisses tonight.

Isabelle was a movie star & Dylan was scary guy.Shawn dressed up as Mike Myers and sat in a chair by the garage with a strobe light on him- he would move just slightly, people were poking him to see if he was real, we heard a lot of screams. My Dad dressed up like a clown and passed out over 250 full size candybars. He loves Halloween. we had fun trick or treating- Dylan got to go with his friends on his own fo rthe first time.

Locks of Love

Isabelle donated 10 inches of her beautiful hair to locks of love today. She looks so cute, though a little more grown up- not quite as babyish looking.

Also Izzy & Maddy had their dance recital last Saturday, it was very cute. dance is now over for at last the summer, maybe after soccer season we will put her in something, she wants to do ballet or hip hop.- I have to admit the hip hop is so cute.

Mossyrock weekend

The kids had a few minor crashes riding their bikes down this hill.(this is the bottom half) it is much longer and steeper.

How about those ribs? They taste as good as they look, Shawn cooks these for about 5 hrs.
Blackjack & Katie 's dog Tallulah made their camping debut this year. Blackjack was surprisingly a great dog!

This year Katie & Jake joined our annual Mossyrock camping trip. We had a beautiful day on Saturday (upper 70's) then about 10:00 pm or so Thunder and lightning hit us. It was a huge down pour and we basically had a river running through our camp site and around the tents. I felt very sorry for them and for the first time I was thankful Shawn insisted on getting our camper. we packed up early sunday morning and hit Spiffy's buffet breakfast it was horrible compared to our camping breakfast.

We also took Dylan's friends Joey & Kyle with us, who had never been camping. They had such a good time and want to know when we are going again. We will have to go a few times this summer, maybe even hit Millersylvania.

Izzy & Maddy got to show ahorses at the Elma Horse show , they both did really well, and loved getting ribbons. This will probably be the only show we participate in, as they are very HECTIC.-(picture my mom & Rob in a public place, in a hurry, and very unorganized) I'm sure you can imagine a little fighting.
Anyways, just got home from Dylans game, He got to play 2nd base, and they got a kid in the pickle- ( tag) i call it. They got him out and Dylan did not skip a beat, I was very proud- He also caught his first pop fly! We lost, but it was still a good game.

We had our first game yesterday, they both did good and got hits, it was raining & snowing off & on so I didn't bring my camera, but when we tried on the uni's we took some. I think Izzy has a great stance, And yes -she does this through out the entire game. She's always ready right behind 1st base.

Great Wolf Lodge Fun

Ryan had her 11th birthday party at our new Grand Mound attraction, The Great Wolf Lodge. We had a great time we spent 2 days riding water slides and wave pooling it. Dylan turned into quite the ladies man, he has his first girlfriend now-Brook, the little blond girl. He started acting so cool, even giving her his tickets from the arcade,the ones you redeem for a cheap prizes,like bouncy balls & wooden airplanes, (which I might add he loves!) Then Brookbought him a stuffed animal with the tickets. My kids had fun until there toes were bleeding( literally) well, just Stone & Izzy's.Kelly of course thought we abused her son,we told her there were quite a few children that were bloody.

opening day

Saturday was opening day for Dylan's baseball.

It was a very, very long day that started at 8:30 am and ended 5:50 pm, we could not have had better weather though, it was beautiful and I will tell you baseball has sure gotten fun to watch, the last time D played ( he skipped last year) the kids skill level was not very high. It is down right exciting now, they make plays and steal bases. Our team was down 5 to nothing, and D got on base and stole 3rd and home and scored the first run. As you can see by the pic he was a little bored in left field, and also pre-occupied with his new "cup" he hates it and cannot leave his hands off it. any way-we lost 7 to 3 but the kids were still excited, and that was only their first game, they'll warm up. I'm looking forward to a great season- I am one of those loud, cheering mothers, I just need to get the lingo down. As I was watching the game I remembered in high school there was one mother in particular who used to yell out sayings like, "give him the high hard one!" or " make him wish he had" I thought about giving those a try, but I still don't know what they mean. we'll see as the season goes on.

Alright here’s my list- And thank-you for the awareness!I'm not very exciting!!!

1- Sleeping in or taking a nap- lovely!
2- buy something new anything- make-up, clothes
3- watching a good movie or tv show with no children to interrupt
4- Take a hot bath with my people magazine- (yes Nicci, I too believe everything in it!)
5- I wish I would enjoy working out but instead I hate it- so I would like to maybe do yoga more often( I like it when I do it)
6- Keep my house clean and organized I also love it when it is, then all of sudden it’s a wreck.
7- Relax in the tub ( did I say that already?) I like it that much!
8- Read a good book- I haven’t read one for me since September - recently Dylan & I have read The Gaurdians of Ga'Hoole books 1,2, & 3 we are now on book 4. - they are about owls- not bad
9- Actually making an appointment and getting my hair done.
10- I like my computer time at night after kids are in bed- POGO, blogs or pretend shopping, you know fill up a shopping cart then just exit out!

Well, that was very hard to come up with, now excuse me, I have to go clean out the litter box!

Roxanne's baby Miley is so adorable.

what a poser she is, she has still yet to fully enjoy her new karoake machine, I thought she would love it so much that I got up @3:00 am and fought the crowds (literally) on black Friday to get her.(to save $40.00) Wii!
This was a very hard present to get, Dylan didn't think I was able to track one down he was so excited when he opened it. All of us have had so much fun playing with this. We love bowling and the fitness test.

We had a very fun Halloween, very hectic with the school parades though.Dylan was a "ghostrider". Stone was Darth Vader, he wouldn't let me get a good pic of him in his parade.

We also got a new kitty her name is Clover, and she is a sweetheart, we love her.

Lake Chelan

We had alot of fun at Lake Chelan this year, we relaxed and layed in the sun the whole time.

Dylan played with a praying mantis for about an hour before we went to dinner and put it in a safe place, when we got back someone had smashed it with rocks, he was very upset. it was sad.

I took Isabelle with me the other day to show a home that happened to be around the corner from her best cousin Maddy's house. I was standing out side the home talking to these people for about 15 minutes, Izzy got bored and sat in the car, after a while she got out and went on the side of the home( it was a fully fenced yard, so I knew she wasn't far.)I said goodbye to my clients & opened my drivers door and this little note was on my front seat written on a napkin. It is funny how she sounds things out! In case you can't make it out -mom I left to maddy house.

Maddy had her 5th b-day party at my house on Sunday , she had alot of fun we had a bounce house, and a pinata, and alot of kids, we alot of fun even though it rained pretty good!

Memorial Day Weekend

My family went on our annual camping trip on Mayfield lake at the end of May, of course Dylan and Ryan found a big pit of "mud", they had a good time even after we informed them that this was not only "mud", there are geese around these parts.

Kelly had a flashback of her childhood and couldn't resist going in, she still claims Nicci and I owe her and Katie $1.00 for jumping in the"mud" down at the creek, I think we do. The weather was pretty nice and we a great time as always.

Road trip

My Dad, Isabelle, and I recently drove to Az to pick up Kari Ann's belongings. I talked my Dad into battling traffic in LA and stopping at Disneyland for a day,( i actually used Isa for this)so I knew he would cave, I have to admit driving on an LA freeway is very stressful and not much fun! We missed our exit once and tried to find our way back on the freeway, my dad was freaking out saying " I just don't want to end up in Watts" I was laughing so hard trying to navigate our way.But disneyland was very fun!Kari wants to be a photographer and was "practicing" the entire 1200 miles home we both actually got some very good pics on the way home, Kari claims she can take just as good pics with out stopping the car and while actually driving the car ,just as good as stopping to get a good photo! I laughed every time she would grab her camera, she said you can just edit the antenna and windshield out.

Well, we had another snow day, I think this is a record, we have had crazy weather this year.Dylan had a great idea to make an igloo and Kari wanted to get out of work, so we all went to work on making one, Dylan was the designer, he told us how to construct it. Kari, Iz, and I piled the snow high.Kari & Dyl did most of the work they were the last 2 out there, Dyl hollowed it out while Kari smoothed the top perfectly, she finished it off by painting the blocks with blue food coloring which took her quite awhile,(she wasn't ready to go back to work). The igloo came out pretty good, Iz & Dyl both could fit in(barely), although kari did put her top half in. Suni & Maddy made the gigantic snow man.

Clam digging!

On New Years Eve my dad took a bunch of us clam digging, it was Stone's first time, he was a little concerned with the first clam he reached in and grabbed but he ended up having a lot of fun as did the rest of us. we went last year too, so Dylan was an old pro and really helped out his dad ,he spent alot of his time "playing" with the clams.
Kari & Suni took the kids out in the ocean after they already got wet, and I didn't care because I packed the entire family nice, warm, and I will emphasize DRY clothes and towels.when we got the kids stripped down to nothing I looked for those dry clothes only to realize that my lovely husband forget the bag in our living room. let's just say the drive home wasn't that fun with all the kids just about naked fighting over the blankets.All in all we had a fun day though.

Here you go Nicci I finally recovered my password so I could post a new one. Here is Izzy & Dylan in their new pj's on Christmas Eve.
Here is Isabelle with her new vanity. It goes very well with all of her new make-up, she likes to put blue eye shadow on and lots of sparkles.

Dylan got a new go cart for Christmas, Shawn built a track at my dads, here he is after a wet ride, and Ryan too.

I'm not sure how old Lar and I are, but we were at my grandmas house and they gave us a dime for each pile of horse doo doo, we took this very seriously as you can see by the look on Larisa's face, and we thought we were pretty cool, as you can see by the look on my face.After we got about $3.00 we walked about 2 miles to the speedway grocery. It didn't turn out to be such a fun walk after all, and we called to get a ride home to no avail.

Well, we have had a very busy weekend, Isabelle invited 11 of her friends over to our house for an old fashioned birthday party, it was alot of fun, we played musical chairs, "hot candy cane"(just like hot potato)and a few more fun ones.

This was a Christmas themed party, so Sunshine and I ( I can't take all the credit )made these cupcakes and made them into a christmas tree, it was very cute.I took a picture of each girl as she arrived and put her photo into a picture frame ornament and sent it home in her goody bag.The party was a big hit! I had been planning it since about October, and Suni helped me so much with everything.

Maddy & Suni got her this cabbage patch girl , her name is Lexi Aimee, and Iz raised her right hand & took the pledge to be a good mommy ( it says all this on thebirth certificate) and later, she said she was really sad & wanted to know how long Lexi had to live in a box before she got her.It was really cute, I told her it was like being in a mommy's tummy and Lexi liked it.

She got alot of make-up too, which after all the games were winding down the girls had a "make-over" with her doing everyones make-up.
Tonight we went to Plaza Jalisco with my mom & dad for Iz 's 2nd party so they would sing happy b-day in spanish while she wears a sombrero and got whip cream in her face, she thought this was so great, and that she was so cool, and told Ryan "I'm a teenager, I'm 52!"Tomorrow will be her 3rd and final party with the Myers at Dirty Daves, oh yea, and cupcakes tomorrow at school, this will bring the total amount of cupcakes made at my house in 2 days to about 65. What are we going to do for Dyl's birthday in March?

Izzy got some fancy new moon boots, that lit up on the bottoms, she wore the heck out of them.

Snow day

The kids finally got a "snow day", they got to stay home from school today, it was fun, they go out get freezing then come in for some hot cocoa. They played pretty good together,(no crying) Grammy was the only casualty, who took a snowball to the eye at close range from Dyl, she wasn't too happy.

Less than two hours after losing her first front tooth, the other one was hanging on by a thread, so she let her brother have atry at pulling it out-it didn't work,but eventually it just fell out.The Tooth Fairy came last night for two teeth and left her quite a pile of quarters overflowing out of her tooth holder.I woke up this morning to Iz yelling, "Mom, my brother was right, the tooth fairy did leave me alot of money, he said she wouldn't be able to fit all of it in,He is so smart!"How nice when they get along like that!

Izzy lost her front tooth tonight.Both front ones are very loose, and she let me pull out the one that was barely hanging on.now her only front tooth left is pushed over to the middle like a snaggle tooth.
